PRAYER IN AMERICA - Director, Executive Producer, Co-writer, Co-photographer, Co-editor
This two-hour public television special airs nationwide beginning in November, 2007. Iowa Public Television is the presenting station for national broadcast. The program was funded by the John Templeton Foundation. Original score by Peter Buffett. Project components include a 5-part classroom series for distribution in fall, 2008.

THE RIVALRY - Michigan vs. Ohio State - Consulting Producer
This original HBO Sports special begins airing on HBO on November 13, 2007. The documentary features the 100 year sports rivalry between Ohio State University and the University of Michigan.

This one-hour PBS broadcast premiered in April, 2005 as a co-production between Iowa Public Television and Stamats Communications. Original score by David Barrett.

THE COST OF FREEDOM - Civil Liberties, Security and the USA PATRIOT Act. Producer, Director, Co-writer, Co-editor
This one-hour television documentary investigates the USA PATRIOT Act and looks at the history of civil liberties in America. Broadcast nationwide on public television, October, 2004. Produced in association with Iowa Public Television. Original score by Chris Spheeris and Peter Mulvey.

BEYOND THE GRIDIRON - The Life & Times of Woody Hayes - Executive Producer, Director
This one-hour television biography chronicles the tumultuous life of famed Ohio State University college football coach Woody Hayes. Completed in Sept., 2003 and slated for nationwide broadcast on public television in 2004. Produced in association with Crouse Communications and WOSU-TV, Columbus. Original score by David Barrett. Winner of 2 EMMY awards (Best Sports Program and Best Soundtrack) Ohio region and the New York Festivals award.

This one-hour program looks at the five leading world religions and how they view a woman's right to choose. Began nationwide broadcast on PBS Network in September, 2003. Produced in association with WTTW-Chicago. Original score by Chris Spheeris. Winner of 3 EMMY awards (best documentary, direction, soundtrack) Chicago/Midwest region as well as the Cine Golden Eagle, Houston and New York Festival Awards.

THE MAGIC NEVER ENDS - The Life & Work of C.S. Lewis - Producer, Writer, Director, co-Photographer
This one-hour public television documentary on the acclaimed Oxford-based writer of children's literature and Christian apologetics was narrated by Sir Ben Kingsley. Nationwide broadcast on PBS began in September, 2002. Co-production with Crouse Communications (also wrote companion book). Winner of the 2003 Movieguide Faith & Values Award for Best Documentary, 2002 EMMY Award for Best Soundtrack, Chicago/Midwest region, and the 2002 Gabriel Award.

RAFTING ALASKA'S WILDEST RIVERS - Producer, Director, Writer, Photographer
This one-hour public television documentary on 3 of Alaska's great wilderness systems includes extensive coverage of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. PBS Network broadcast nationwide in July, 2001. Winner of 3 EMMY Awards (program, photography, editing), Chicago Midwest Region.

THROUGH ONE CITY'S EYES - Executive Producer, Writer, Director
This one-hour public television documentary and related outreach campaign on race relations included a traveling photo museum and two-part classroom series. National broadcast through CPM during Feb. 2001. Community and educational outreach ongoing. Winner of a 2000 Gabriel Award for excellence.

This one-hour public television documentary aired nationwide on PBS Network, March 2000. Narrated by Mason Adams with Tom Hulce, Judith Light, Jane Kaczmarek, Peter Bonerz, and Amy Pietz. Original music by Peter Buffett, Randy Sabien, Bill Camplin & Sam Pacetti. Winner of 2 EMMY Awards (photography, soundtrack), Chicago/Midwest region. Co-production with Stamats Communications.

This one-hour public television documentary aired nationwide in 1998. Narrated by James Taylor with original score by Peter Buffett. Winner of 2 EMMY Awards (writing, photography) Chicago/Midwest region. Co-production with Crouse Communications.

MYSTIC LANDS - Executive Producer, Writer, Director, Photographer
This 13-part series was a co-production with Discovery Networks/TLC. Domestic broadcast on TLC plus more than 100 worldwide territories sold to date. Narrated by Edward James Olmos with original score by Chris Spheeris. Winner of numerous international awards. Available as a dvd Collector's Edition in September, 2005.

ALASKA'S BALD EAGLE - New Threats To Survival - Producer, Director, Photographer, Writer, Editor
This half hour documentary was broadcast on Discovery Channel. Winner of the 1993 Jackson Hole Wildlife Festival Award for "Best New Wildlife Filmmaker." Narrated by Richard Kiley, original music by Chris Spheeris. Co-production with Crouse Communications.

EDEN - Producer
Howard Goldberg's touching portrayal of a young family in crisis features Joanna Going and Sean Patrick Flanery. A Water Street Pictures Production. Finalist in 1996 Sundance Film Festival. Theatrical release in 1998 with follow-up broadcasts on HBO, Showtime, Encore and Lifetime Networks. Home video distribution through BMG Independents with foreign sales by Lakeshore International. Leonard Maltin - 4 stars.

THE BREAK UP - Co-Executive Producer
A Water Street Pictures production featuring Bridget Fonda, Kiefer Sutherland and Steven Weber . Sold outright to Miramax. 1999 premiere on Showtime Network and 2003 nationwide broadcast on UPN. Available on home video.

COYOTES - Co-Executive Producer
Kevin McCarey's dramatic tale of a young girl's coming of age set in Baja, Mexico. Distributed by Porchlight Entertainment. Audience award at 1999 Palm Springs International Film Festival and Grand Prize Winner at the 1999 Savannah Film Festival.

CADILLAC RANCH - Executive Producer
Released theatrically in 1998 with follow-up broadcasts on Showtime and Encore. Currently in syndication. Film features Christopher Lloyd and Suzi Amis. Released domestically by BMG Independents with foreign sales through Gullane (formerly Catalyst) Entertainment.

ROW YOUR BOAT - Producer
Film features Jon Bon Jovi and Bai Ling. Premiered foreign through Toronto-based Gullane Pictures, released domestically on home video in 2001. Written and directed by Sollace Mitchell.
